I am going to write a little, but periodically what did I do and how I setup the Wordpress on this site. This is my first experience with Wordpress and all I know is web and web-programming. Will see what I will do and what I have in a month or so. I have installed this blog on fresh Godaddy.com hosting on 11th of January 2008. Have been reading a lot about different plugins and widgets on pages like these:

  1. http://slickmania.com/best-of-wordpress-plugins/
  2. http://www.quickonlinetips.com/…/best-wordpress-plugins-for-power-blogging/
  3. http://www.staska.net/2007/03/27/top-30-wordpress-plugins-in-blogosphere/

If you just started with Wordpress, than I strongly recommend you to explore the list of them. The main idea of this blog when I was thinking about starting it was to learn more about blog engines and be able to try myself in writing and in web advertising, but not for increasing income. When I was starting this blog I also wanted to prove on myself, that if I write as much as I can and periodically, it would automatically increase the popularity (amount of visitors). The first thing I did was determine what theme I want to use, I saw a lot, but BloggingPro was the best for me and I still like it. Then I installed a bunch of plugins and widgets which I found be the links from a list above. The most important for me to reach my aims are Google XML Sitemaps Generator, All in One SEO Pack and Feedburner Feedsmith. I have also added an RSS feed of this blog to FeedBurner to be able to track subscribers number. I know the main (as I think now) - you won’t have any of visitors if there is nothing interesting for them to read/comment. I made some categories and do a first post. It wasn’t painful, just a little bit slow, because I didn’t know about plugin No Ping Wait (unfortunately, link is missing now). This is what I did. Now I am not playing with plugins and just keep writing. The more is coming later. I will write everything about this blog in a special category. PS: Hope my upcoming experience will help people. Let me know your thoughts in comments. Bob.
